(NASDAQ: AGYS), a leading provider of enterprise computer solutions, today announced a robust, real-time Customer Loyalty Rewards (CLR) solution for IBM Chain Sales application customers. This solution enables you to expand the breadth and depth of your Chain Sales application by providing real-time, customer specific rewards over your Wide Area Network (WAN). RTC's CLR solution enables retailers to get to know their customers better and reward them for their loyalty. It provides the tools that a retailer requires to manage targeted pricing promotions, electronic coupon generation, targeted customer messages, and a variety of customer loyalty programs. The solution supports the utilization of a customer loyalty card that contains either a magnetic stripe or barcode. When the card is swiped or scanned at the Point-of-Sale (POS), the system sends a request to the host-based, customer loyalty database, to retrieve the purchase history for that customer and any special promotions that this customer may be due based on that history. Through the utilization of a central database, customer information can be accessed from any store within your enterprise via a WAN. Once a customer loyalty database is established, the database can be accessed from the Internet or from a kiosk. This gives the ability to expand a customer's "touch points" beyond the four walls of a store. The development of the CLR solution for IBM Chain Sales application customers provides the ability to announce a chain wide loyalty program while possibly transitioning to RTC's StoreMobile Application Suite as the next generation in-store solution. This transition is presently being made by a major retailer who has recently announced a robust customer loyalty program but wants to remain anonymous to further leverage their competitive advantage.
