Loss Prevention Analyzer

RTC’s Loss Prevention Analyzer (LPA) provides an easy-to-use, browser based tool to help monitor and eliminate cashier theft through the use of “exception transactions”.

This tool enables the monitoring of cashier activity by interrogating point-of-sale transaction logs and “red flagging” all transactions that could be associated with theft. LPA is part of RTC’s MMSxTend Application Suite and is designed to be used in conjunction with JDA’s MMS® Sales Audit. By utilizing the detail data captured in the sales audit process, the LPA database can be used to inquire and report on user refined “red flag” transactions at all levels within the company hierarchy. Advanced Promotion Management

RTC’s Advanced Promotion Management (APM) module provides retailers running JDA® Merchandise Management System® (MMS®) with an automated promotion system that eliminates excessive discounting and helps retailers take their current promotional campaign beyond base Price Management parameters.

Campaigns can be set up for auto-apply, not requiring the presentation of a coupon. Campaign set up allows multiple selections of hierarchy, vendor, and item. APM eliminates double discounting by configuring campaigns to provide the item discount only if that item, within the transaction, has not already been discounted.

With easy to use screens, APM allows users to create multiple types of campaign benefit definitions in a campaign database including the ultimate “Buy X Get Y” Ex. (Buy any two DVDs and get a free bag of popcorn.)

APM Method Types:

Dashboard Management Module

RTC’s Dashboard Management Module (DMM) helps improve the performance and management of JDA® MMS® software by monitoring critical systems and business indicators. DMM provides a set of visual gauges to spark management’s attention to potential problem areas and serves as an alternative to MMS’s alert capabilities that utilize advanced logging. DMM also provides a series of business gauges that can highlight areas where action may be required to optimize business results. The module is part of RTC’s MMSxTend Application Suite and is extremely easy to configure and use.

DMM allows authorized users the ability to drill into MMS on a daily basis, see details and address any problems from the indicator gauge. There is no need for staff to produce query reports to identify breakdowns.

DMM provides a quick view and highlights the indicators that fall outside of the customer-defined parameters. Indicators are presented in Green when acceptable, Yellow if within a defined cautionary range, and Red with in high alert range.

Plan-O-Guide Management Module

RTC’s Plan-o-Guide Management Module for JDA’s MMS® software takes your plan-o-grams to a new level of efficiency, profitability, and simplicity. This module is part of RTC’s MMSxTend Application Suite and was created to perfectly coordinate the planning, replenishment, and advertising departments. This solution facilitates the merging of store design efforts with category and space planning, enabling retailers the ability to maximize the position, performance, and layout of product categories to increase their sales per square foot.

System Features:

  • Field tracking for elements such as Plan-o-gram ID, Description, Status, Foot Width, Cumulative Sq. Foot, Assigned Area Categories, Number of SKU’s and Stores Assigned and Effective Dates.
  • Plan-o-Guide set-up supports effective dates to facilitate promotional plan-o-guides.
  • Items are assigned to the Plan-o-Guides one at a time or by attribute selections.
  • Stores are assigned to Plan-o-Guides one at a time or by groups.
  • Stores assigned to a Plan-o-Guide can be copied to other Plan-o-Guides.
  • Items may be assigned to more than one Plan-o-Guide within a store.
  • Options allow copying all SKU assignments of one Plan-o-Guide to another. The copy process allows either replacing or appending the SKU line items.
  • Screen functions allow deletion of all SKU assignments to a selected Plan-o-Guide ID.
  • Plan-o-Guide setting instructions are automatically produced by store type.
  • File initializations can be accomplished through Excel spreadsheet downloads.
  • Database reporting allows flexible sort options.
