Advanced Coupon Management

RTC continues to add to and enhance our MMSxTend Application Suite with our newest offering, Advanced Coupon Management (ACM). ACM is designed to help retailers manage creative coupon promotions intended to drive customer demand and increase sales. ACM enables retailers to implement coupon promotions for various categories of items for a specific date range. These coupons can be defined to provide the item discount only if that item, within the transaction, has not already been discounted, thereby eliminating exposure to double discounting.

RTC’s ACM is easy to use and flexible enough to allow JDA MMS® users the ability to create multiple types of coupon definitions in a coupon database. Coupons are scanned via barcode at the end of the Point-of-Sale transaction, where the programs apply appropriate discounts to the transaction details. Coupon set up allows multiple selections of hierarchy, vendor, and item. With easy to use screens, ACM allows users to customize coupons with features such as deal quantities, percent off, fixed price, tiers, limits, buy one get one free, and the ultimate (Buy from one group and get a deal from an alternative group. Ex. Buy any Dog cage and get a Dog bed for free.) Enhancements to Corporate Sales Audit provides coupon ID visibility to the discounted transactions. Corporate reporting provides campaign effectiveness analysis.
